Icy Demons Tour With Of Montreal, Yeasayer

Nevermind how the spawn of hell manage to thrive in frigid climes: Icy Demons are very much alive, ever-spastic, and totally coming to a venue near you this month.
The hyperactive Chicago set and 2008 Pitchfork Music Festival alums will spend the first half of November in cahoots with Of Montreal, and the latter half cozying up to those positivity mongers Yeasayer. They have a few of their own dates scattered here and there as well. All this Demonic goodness comes in support of the band's latest, this summer's Miami Ice.
Fans should note that a few key members of Icy Demons' studio lineup-- namely Tortoise's Jeff Parker and Christopher "Pow Pow" Powell and Russell "Cougar" Higbee of Man Man fame-- won't be around for this latest live outing, but frontman Griffin "Blue Hawaii" Rodriguez has recruited an able cohort of bandmates to help bring the party to your locale. The fiendish fun begins November 6 in Louisville.
In related news, astute readers will know that Rodriguez performed mastering and engineering duties on Beirut's forthcoming EP two-fer.
