Edie Sedgwick Links With Dischord for Third Album
Justin Moyer sure does like naming things after other things. Famous things, even! The El Guapo/Supersystem/Antelope guy-- who records and performs under the name of Andy Warhol's famous muse Edie Sedgwick-- will issue his third LP, Things Are Getting Sinister & Sinisterer, on vinyl and download (read: no CD!) November 10 via Dischord.
Sporting tunes such tunes "Sissy Spacek" (herself a victim of identity hijacking), "March of the Penguins", and the presumably topical "Bambi/G.W. Bush", the disc's got culture on its slightly twisted mind. And the big names aren't just reserved for the album, either: Amy Farina of the Evens, Ben Azzara of the Capitol City Dusters, Basla Andolsun of Beauty Pill, and others will join Moyer on the road this month as he takes Edie Sedgwick out for a spin and offers his assessment of Sienna Miller's performance in Factory Girl.
