Glasvegas Bring Debut, Live Show to U.S. in January
They might not be making a stop in the (sin) city for which they're (almost) named, but Glasgow's reverby heart-wrenchers Glasvegas will nevertheless ring out over a few North American locales in January. The occasion? The U.S. physical release of their self-titled debut, out now in the UK and digitally but due on CD on these shores January 6 from Columbia.
What's more, the night before Glasvegas hits the States, the band will take the stage at the "Late Show With David Letterman" with the intention of rocking.
The Glasvegas gang recently traveled to Transylvania to record a HalloweenChristmas EP, which they'll release before the year's up. In addition to their North American visit, they have a ton of dates lined up in Europe, a few in Japan, and a just-announced 2009 UK trek with fellow buzz bands Friendly Fires, Florence and the Machine, and White Lies.
