Instruments frontlady and Elephant 6 affiliate Heather McIntosh is an indie rocker at heart; Lil Wayne, well, he is a very popular rapping person who also happens to be from space. And guess what: the two will share a stage, perhaps some hilarious conversation, and lord knows what else when Weezy embarks on his winter tour.

McIntosh, who joined Wayne at the Voodoo Music Experience last month and on a few East Coast dates earlier this year, will play bass in Wayne's band on his largely yet-to-be-announced upcoming jaunt. Beyond her own recordings, Heather is well known as an axe-for-hire, having spent some time with Gnarls Barkley this summer. If you're reading this, Heather, keep those instruments (especially the guitars) away from Wayne at all times.

As it stands, Wayne's tour includes three dates in December, but expect more to crop up as the thing comes together.
