2009 hasn't even started yet, and we already know what the highest-energy tour of the year is going to be: the Los Campesinos! / Titus Andronicus matchup that will take the United States by storm in January and February. (Yes, I realize that I will be eating my words when the Monotonix/Dan Deacon/David Banner/Gogol Bordello mega-tour is announced next summer.)

The spunky, punky Welsh youngsters, supporting their recently released second album We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed, will join up with the spunky, punky New Jersey youngsters, who will be supporting XL's reissue of their debut The Airing of Grievances for a month-long trek. It culminates in a two-night stand in NYC that begins on Valentine's Day-- as if Los Campesinos! could get any more adorable.

In addition to both being awesome bands, the other thing Los Campesinos! and Titus Andronicus share is an affinity for touring with No Age. LC! just finished the epic Shred Yr Face trek with Dean and Randy (and Times New Viking), while Titus are on the Shockhound tour with the duo right now.
