18th Dye Return With New LP, North American Tour

Fans of the no-nonsense indie rock sound of the nineties, rejoice! Danish/German trio 18th Dye, John Peel favorites and unsung heroes of Matador Records' roster during the decade before this one, are back in the saddle with a new album and a North American tour that's drawing nigh.

Amorine Queen is the band's first proper album since 1995's Tribute to a Bus, and it's available in the U.S. as of this week thanks to Crunchy Frog. The set collects 12 new tracks from the recently reunited trio of Heike Marie Rädeker, Piet Breinholm Bendtsen, and Sebastian T. Büttrich, and finds them more or less picking up right where they left off.

18th Dye's love for this continent doesn't stop there, either: beginning November 25 they'll sweep across the States and Canada with Ba Da Bing troubadour Devon Williams in tow. 18th Dye, welcome to the 21st century.
