Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band Sign to Dead Oceans

Prep LP for spring release, tour a bit through the rest of the year
Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band Sign to Dead Oceans

Emerging from the molten wreckage of Seattle rockers In Praise of Folly comes Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band, who've just signed on with fellow berzerkers-of-nature Dead Oceans. The group recently self-released an EP called Weepy, co-produced by Scott Colburn (Arcade Fire, Animal Collective), and will issue a full-length with Colburn's assistance in the spring from their new imprint.

With 13-year-old drummer and budding physiologist Marshall Verdoes in tow, the band hits the road along the West Coast this month and next.
