Andrew Bird Announces Winter Tour

In the wake of the January 27 Fat Possum release of his Noble Beast LP, the Windy City's whistlin' wonder Andrew Bird will hit the road in the States yet again on a month-long tour. While Swedish songster Loney, Dear will open most of the dates, the tour's first engagement, at New York City's Carnegie Hall January 28, finds Bird's frequent collaborator Dosh taking the warm-up slot. Hey, fellas, how do you get to Carnegie Hall? Oh, right: be talented.

Andrew's currently in Europe, knocking out the rest of a brief tour. Beyond that-- and his participation in the Rock for Kids auction in Chicago come December-- he's got nothing to do for the next couple months but that other thing that gets you to Carnegie Hall.
