From the Unicorns to Human Highway, Islands' Nick Thorburn knows a thing or two about collaboration, and he has assembled quite an impressive lineup for an upcoming benefit show.

On December 8, Thorburn (going under his previous moniker Nick Diamonds), David Cross, Marnie Stern, Trail of Dead's Conrad Keely, Leona Naess, and others will partake in "a night of music, comedy, and weirdness" hosted by comedian John Roberts. The flier also promises "'miracle fruit' taste testings, real humans in cages, live art installations [and] knitting tutorials." Whoa.

The event takes place at NYC's Knitting Factory, and all proceeds will go to volunteer organization New York Cares.

Thorburn and Islands have also added a bunch of European dates to their itinerary. The tour will start February 4 in Gent, Belgium.
