Vivian Girls Launch Label, Cover Beach Boys on New 7"
Hey, who out there likes fun? You'd have to be a real sonofagun not to.
Who likes the Vivian Girls? Yeah, same as before.
Boy, have those Vivian Girls got a whole lot of fun for you...a whole pack of it, in fact! The Vivs' latest 7", "Surf's Up!", has dropped via their very own new label Wild World. In tribute to mirth and merriment and all that crap, they're issuing the thing as a "Fun Pack". Not only will you get the single-- which also sports new jam "Second Date" and their cover of the Beach Boys' "Girls Don't Tell Me"-- but a t-shirt, a couple postcards to send to your funnest friends, and a button. The whole she-bang's a limited edition affair, and you won't be able to get the 7" without opting for the "Fun Pack". But you wouldn't do that anyway, because, of course, that would be significantly less fun.
Speaking of good times with the Vivian Girls, the UK will get plenty of 'em in December, with a few NY/NJ/PA shows sprinkled in there as well.
