BSS, the National, Bon Iver Share Charity T-Shirts

T-shirt design by Broken Social Scene

Just in time for sweater weather to kick into overdrive, it's another helping of charity t-shirts from the Yellow Bird Project! For the uninitiated, Montreal-based Yellow Bird recruits musicians of note to design or inspire designs for tees, then donates the profits from sales of said tees to charities of the musicians' choosing. So you get a sweet article of clothing, and deserving parties get some much-needed funds; if that doesn't sum up the yin and yang of the holiday season right there, I don't know what does.

Since we last checked in with them, Yellow Bird have added another round of rad raiments to their e-racks, courtesy of the likes of Broken Social Scene, the National, Bon Iver, the Magic Numbers, k-os, and, as noted previously, the New Pornographers and Immaculate Machine.

Scope several of these nifty designs below, and note that the Bon Iver image (the red-on-ash one below) was dreamt up by UK-based illustrator Eleanor Rudge. Charities getting a boost this time around include Safe Space (The National), Interval House (Bon Iver), ALS Society of British Columbia (Pornos/Immaculate Machine), AIDS Society (Magic Numbers), ONEXONE (k-os), and Lake Ontario Waterkeeper (BSS).

And while you're reaching for your credit cards, now would be an appropriate time to remind you that Yellow Bird still has sweet shirts available from such indie luminaries as the Shins, Wolf Parade, Rilo Kiley, Devendra Banhart, Stars, My Brightest Diamond, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and more. Trust us, they'll look great beneath those 14 layers you're sporting right now.
