Human Highway Hit the, Um, Highway

Human Highway, the latest in a string of one billion Islands-related projects, will be going on a road trip this March, playing a bunch of dates with former Page France frontman and Suicide Squeeze labelmate Cotton Jones. HH is a collaboration between Islands frontman Nick Thorburn and former Islands member Jim Guthrie, which you'd think would be awkward. The band is named after a Neil Young song and, talking to Pitchfork last summer, Thorburn described their album Moody Motorcycle as "a great record to smoke opium to," so probably don't expect Busdriver to jump onstage and start rapping at any of these shows.
