News in Brief: Young Jeezy, Femi Kuti, Jason Loewenstein, Office

-- Some enterprising camera-phone type has blessed with the world with pricelessly weird footage of Young Jeezy reffing a drunken swimming race between Michael Phelps and Warren Sapp. This, apparently, is a thing that rappers do. (Via the Fader.)

-- Afrobeat scion Femi Kuti has cancelled his entire U.S. tour because of some unspecified illness. We hope it's not rickets.

-- Sebadoh's Jason Loewenstein has a new project going: Circle of Buzzards, a duo with drummer and Fiery Furnaces bandmate Bob D'Amico. They're currently recording an EP, and they'll make their live debut January 30 at Brooklyn's Trash Bar. Thanks to Jeffrey Fox for the tip.

-- The recently-broken-up Chicago indie-pop band Office are offering their never-released final album Mecca for free download here.
