Tight Bro's Release New Album, Tour

Is that guy eating Kal-Kan?

Tight Bro's From Way Back When are slated to release a new album, Lend You a Hand, on July 31st through Kill Rock Stars. The new album will serve as the follow-up to their KRS debut, Runnin' Thru My Bones, which has been described as "eardrum-shredding rock 'n' blues." Like you needed those silly eardrums. In case you aren't familiar, the tunes are brought to you by singer Jared Warren, who was in Karp, and guitar twins Jon and Dave descended from the band Behead the Prophet.

The Tight Bro's will be playing the Yo-Yo-a-Go-Go Festival (July 17th-20th) at the historic Capitol Theater in downtown Olympia, Washington. Other bands on the bill include Bratmobile, C Average, Gene Defcon, Mirah, the Pattern and about forty other bands. Beck, Modest Mouse, and Sleater-Kinney have headlined previous festivals, so it's obviously very hip. In addition to Yo-Yo-a-Go-Go, the Tight Bro's have announced a West Coast tour:

07-05 San Francisco, CA - Bottom of the Hill
07-06 San Jose, CA - Outhouse
07-07 Los Angeles, CA - Al's Bar
07-08 Santa Barbara, CA - Living Room
07-09 Santa Ana, CA - Koo's Cafe
07-10 San Diego, CA - Off the Record (3pm in-store)
07-11 Santa Cruz, CA - Cafe So Say We
07-12 Oakland, CA - Stork Club
