Aloha to Embark on Lengthy Summer Tour
Cleveland-based free-jazzy indie rockers Aloha will be setting out on tour this month, then heading to Ann Arbor, Michigan to complete work on the follow-up to last year's That's Your Fire. The tour includes a wide array of accompanying acts, including Q and Not U, Ted Leo, and Pele, among others. Aloha's 2000 full-length, That's Your Fire, brought an ethereal, freeform, jazz-tipped element to traditional indie rock, cooking up a rather unique and challenging sonic slurry for fans to digest. Yum... sonic slurry!
