Hot on the heels of last month's Retsin release, the post-folk Cabin in the Woods on Carrot Top, Tara Jane O'Neil has released In The Sun Lines on Quarterstick Records. This follow-up to last year's Peregrine was recorded by hand in a ballroom in Louisville. A US tour will begin in October, with a November European tour quickly thereafter.

Just in case you want to play six degrees of separation, here's the breakdown: O'Neil was originally in the short-lived but revered Rodan, after which she was in the blink-and-you-missed-'em Sonora Pine. In addition to her solo work, she's currently one-half of Retsin with Cynthia Lynn Nelson, formerly of Antietam.
