New Hefner Album Details
Churning them out, like a young (well, not so young anymore, lads!) band of semi-upstarts should, Hefner are back again with a new album. Scheduled for a September 24th release on Too Pure, Dead Media will feature a slew of new tracks from Darren Hayman (lead guitarist, vocalist, writer), mainly. "Alan Bean" is the lead single, appearing in multiple, completist-encouraging versions on August 27th. The song is described as an affectionate ode to the fourth man on the moon. Most likely, it details a lad's frustration with himself and his girl, sexually and otherwise. Festival dates this summer and tour dates in October around England are scheduled, as well. Tracklist:
Dead Media
Trouble Kid
Junk
When the Angels Play Their Drum Machines
Union Chapel Day
China Crisis
Alan Bean
Peppermint Taste
The Mangle
