Basement Jaxx Gear Up for American Tour

Sorry, the ape already upstaged any comment we could possibly make
Brixton house duo Basement Jaxx have just announced a sizeable saunter through American and Canadian venues scheduled for October. "The Jaxx" recently released their sophomore LP, Rooty, to curious orgasmic acclaim, as was the case with their debut, Remedy, which the All Music Guide inaccurately dubbed "The best dance album of the 90's." (No.) Rooty is Basement Jaxx's second full-length effort for Astralwerks, and its artwork is presently being heralded as "an airbrushed absurdity of Pepto vomit hideousness, rivaling even the most pustulous Psygnosis travesty."

As for the tour, it will feature "drums... dancers... electronic gadgetry... exciting visuals." We can't wait to witness the ellipses. Dates:
