Ming & FS Cross-Fade the Country
Ming & FS will be touring throughout the fall in support of their new album, The Human Condition, which is set to be released by Om Records September 18th. On the new album, the NYC based DJ duo will expand their trademark "junkyard" sound from the hip-hop and drum-n-bass it already contains to include elements of two-step and house. In fact, don't be surprised if you find their new single, "Uncle Bubble," in the jungle section of your record store, race home, throw it on your turntable, and discover that instead of hard-ass d'n'b, you're hearing wuss-ass house music (true story!). Some folks who lent a helping hand to the new record are Ada Dyer (Naked Music), who sings in a sexy way; Omri, who was featured on Ming & FS's first album and beatboxes in a sexy way; Todd Simon (from Macy Gray's band), who plays trumpet in a sexy way; and Hero Ric, who also sings in a sexy way.
