Steve Wynn to Play Dream Syndicate LP on Tour
Before he finished recording his new double album, Here Come the Miracles, Steve Wynn had a long career in music, dating back to the very beginnings of what we now know as alternative rock. His first album with Dream Syndicate, the seminal Days of Wine and Roses, was made way back in 1982 and pulled our grandparents out of their new-wave/disco doldrums with its distorted white noise and guitar emphasis.
Well, Steve's still around, and he will be performing the Syndicate's classic album in its entirety at many of his tourdates through September with his new band. Featuring unknowns Linda Pitmon, Dave De Castro, and Jason Victor as the Miracle 3, this tour promises as many thrills as you would expect from an aging rock-star performing twenty-year-old past masterpieces.
