Engine Down's European Vacation
Virginia's Engine Down will retreat to the European continent for a slew of tour dates this September and October. Apparently, they're tired of the rigid constructs of the terms "emo," "hardcore," and "post-rock" that we silly Americans love to throw about. In the meantime, the boys have kept busy by writing a bunch of songs for their forthcoming Lovitt Records release, which is slated to be recorded next month. Engine Down, which consists of former members of Sleepytime Trio, the Weak Link Breaks, and Bughummer, have released two LPs to date, including their most recent release, To Bury Within the Sound.
