Silver Jews to Release New Album, EP

2 Live Jews all but forgotten
After piecing together a book of fantastic surrealist poetry titled Actual Air in 1999, David "D.C." Berman is back in the music biz and ready to grace us with a brand new Silver Jews album. Bright Flight, due out November 20th, is the first release from the Silver Jews since 1998's stellar American Water. But that's not all. Along with the new 10-song collection comes a four-song EP entitled Tennessee. Named for a cut from the new album, Tennessee also includes three previously unreleased nuggets not collected on Bright Flight.

The new album features the lyrical song-stylings of Berman, along with Tim Barnes and Mike Fellows, both of whom played on the American Water sessions. In addition, several musicians in the Nashville area contributed to the mix. Past collaborators Stephen Malkmus and Bob Nastonovich, however, aren't said to have made any contributions to the new "lonely-sounding, make-you-cry" album. Tracklist:
