Preston School of Industry to Tour U.S.

Weston School of Cosmetology to stay put, give manicures
They say you can never go home again. For Spiral Stairs, the one-time Pavement guitarist and current frontman of Preston School of Industry, that's a good thing. Following in the footsteps of Stephen Malkmus (the John Oates to his Daryl Hall), Spiral, along with his new cohorts, has released his first non-Pavement album this year, All This Sounds Gas. For those of you who are still heartbroken over the demise of what was arguably indie's greatest band ever, dry those tears. Preston School of Industry is currently touring the U.S. and, who knows, maybe afterwards they'll come over for biscuits and tea.
