Former Eric's Trip bassist/songwriter and current solo artist Julie Doiron is headed out on tour through her homeland to promote her most recent release, the all-French Desormais. Doiron will be joined on tour by her Endearing Records labelmate Christine Fellows, whose second full-length album, Last One Standing, hits stores next year.

If you like Julie Doiron but can't stand French, sit tight-- Doiron is expected to release an English-language companion to Desormais in May 2001. Like Desormais, the album will be released in Canada by Endearing Records and in the U.S. by Jagjaguwar.
