Milemarker Tours the East and Midwest

No mile to be left unmarked in tour diary

Milemarker are on tour in Europe right now, but will be heading to the US for some dates in New York and the Midwest while making their way back to their hometown of Chicago. The four-piece, consisting of Dave Laney, Al Burian, Roby Newton, and Sean Husick, have released four albums, including their most recent, Anaesthetic, which was recently issued by Jade Tree.

With a name like Milemarker, one would expect them to be a Mark Lanegan-type band, singing trucking songs about driving all night and drinking perfume and shit. However, the sound of the band has been described as "future rhythmic" with an "atypical approach to political lyricism." Of course, that's just fancy words for 80s new wave.
