Rocket from the Crypt Tours California

NASA's plans for Space Corpse program negated by lack of funding. Again

San Diego horns-and-riffs institution Rocket from the Crypt is staying close to home at the end of October for a modest handful of shows. This sure-to-be-raucous run of performances will culminate in a Halloween show in their hometown. To add to the fun, the band has set up a poll on their official site where fans can vote on what costumes they should wear for the event. Choices range from San Diego Padres to Drive Like Jehu, RFTC's noise rock side project which has been on extended hiatus since their Yank Crime record. While the Halloween costumes may be up for grabs, musical selections for these dates will surely center on a generous helping of songs from their 2001 Vagrant release, Group Sounds.
