Mike "Owen" Kinsella Goes Out On Tour
If there's one good thing about them Kinsella boys, it's the way they keep churning out those records. Yep, current Owl, former Jazz Cap'n, and sometime American Football Mike Kinsella has a new solo project called Owen. And he's not sparing us the tour.
Like any drummer-gone-singer/songwriter project, the live performances are sure to include lots of surly looks back to the drum set area, where he could certainly play a whole lot better than that joker does. Then again, with companions Caithlin de Marrais and Kyle Fischer of Rainer Maria coming along to play, maybe that won't be necessary. All songs played on the tour will be culled from both the Owen project and Fischer's forthcoming Open Ground album, on which all three musicians collaborated.
