Masters of the Hemisphere's New LP

Hey! What about Freemdoom?

Masters of the Hemisphere, better known as the creators of the sprawling, overly complex twee-pop tale of Freemdoom and Gorgar, will bring us more wacky pop in the near future. Unfortunately, it appears that their new album, I Can't Believe the Volume, will do little to clue us in to the latest midadventures of our much-beloved canine mob boss and his thug-with-a-heart-of-gold. It's rumored that the new album will return the band to the more straightforward pop roots approach they took on their passable self-titled debut. I Can't Believe the Volume, which is due out on March 12th on Kindercore, will be preceded later this month by an EP titled Permanent Stranger on DC/Baltimore 2012.

Masters of the Hemisphere are from Athens, Georgia, and were formerly founding members of such curiously named acts as Eat Rice on Friday, Orange Team, Linus, and Jaspers Arm. Current Masters' side projects include Summer Hymns (it really is hard to believe, isn't it?), Juicy Spook, Radical Radiators, Bronco II, and Famous Larvae of the Insect World. Here's the tracklist for the forthcoming LP:

01 200 Heads
02 Sailboat Kite
03 Local Government
04 Take Time
05 Rules of Life
06 All Your Winning Numbers
07 Give Me Something Clearly
08 In the Morning
09 The Gauntlet
10 Summer with You
