Still looking for the perfect holiday gift for your favorite post-rock geek? Thrill Jockey is ready to help you out with a limited-edition, mail-order-only Isotope 217 single. The disc features all of two tracks from the Chicago post-rock jazz-reinterpreters, both of which are remixes of songs already released. It's actually being released by Chicago's burgeoning Aesthetics label, but Thrill Jockey was kind enough to distribute the lil' sucker. Rob Mazurek, who plays the cornet for the group, is also responsible for the artwork on the cover. The disc is titled Isotope 217 Mixed by Commander Mindfuck and Designer, which accurately describes the contents, which are remixes done by Commander Mindfuck and Designer. The tracklist is as follows:
