Jets to Brazil Need a New Drummer

Please? Anybody?

After an autumn-long bout with depression, a media blackout and a canceled tour, Jets to Brazil frontman Blake Schwarzenbach has emerged with even more bad news. Upon drying his cheeks of trademark Jade Tree tears, Schwarzenbach announced via the band's official website that drummer and founding band member Chris Daly has left the Jets fold to pursue a new project. As Schwarzenbach says in the statement: "This untimely departure leaves the Jet with a pretty sizeable hull breach."

The band, however, has announced that the search for a new drummer will begin in the New York/Brooklyn area. "Our goal," Schwarzenbach says, "is to tour the United States, Europe, Japan and to continue making challenging and unlikely music." Those who are interested should contact whoever it is that goes by "Distant Wizard" at distantwizard@hotmail.com. Nicodemus?
