Frank Black, Catholics Launch 28-Date U.S. Tour

It's gonna be all like... did anyone see that Steve Martin movie Leap of Faith?

Frank Black has thrown his two-track in the back of his touring van and is ready to spread his oddly alien-intensive gospel to America's rock clubs in support of his latest SpinART releases, Black Letter Days and Devil's Workshop. Given the off-kilter desert vibe of those albums, it's no surprise to learn that Black is kicking off the tour in the Southwestern U.S. before heading back East. Call it reverse manifest destiny. As Black himself queries on Devil's Workshop, "Are you headed my way?" Here's your answer:

As an aside here, we thought we'd also inform you that SpinART has just reissue Frank & The C-Notes' 2001 full-length Dog in the Sand, having wrangled the album rights away from that goofy What Are Records? label it was initially released by. The album now boasts four unlisted bonus tracks-- all acoustic demos! You get: "Robert Onion", "Blast Off", "Stupid Me", and "If It Takes All Night", and if that doesn't satisfy your greedy azz, we Frankly don't give a damn. Ehhhh.
