Nobukazu Takemura to Release Two Albums, Tour
Riding the wave of his latest release, 10th, Thrill Jockey experimental electronic fixture
Nobukazu Takemura will be slicing, dicing and vocoding his Osaka-born bootay from right coast to
left come the first week of April. Takemura, who will be kicking off the not-super-extensive
tour in New York City on the 3rd and closing it out in L.A. on the 11th, is also preparing to
release two new albums in April: Assembler/Assembler 2 will be issued by Thrill Jockey
next Tuesday, with seven tracks running just over an hour; Songbook, due out April 22nd
on Brooklyn, NY's Bubble Core Records, will, according to that label's website, "feature a full
band, with gorgeous & playful vocals" and is "a drastic departure from his recent experimental
