Erase Errata on Tour, Set to Release Second LP in October
[Posted Friday, September 12th, 2003 02:00:00 Pitchfork Central Time]
San Francisco femme fatales Erase Errata will be releasing their sophomore long-player on October 28th through Troubleman Unlimited Records. Entitled At Crystal Palace, the album was recorded by John Vanderslice soundman extraordinaire Jay Pellicci at Tiny Telephone. Laid down in January of 2003, the album is the follow-up to 2001's critically acclaimed (even by Pitchfork!) release Other Animals. At Crystal Palace sees the band continuing to work its improvisation-lite no-wave sound, while still improving its off-kilter staccato chops. Their publicist reminds us that the cover is really rad-- and it kinda is. Take that as an endorsement if you wish. Tracklist:
01 Driving Test
02 Ca. Viewing
03 Go to Sleep
04 Retreat! The Most Familiar
05 Suprize It's Easter
06 Let's Be Active C/O Club Hott
07 Flippy Flop
08 Owls
09 Ease on Over
10 The White Horse is Bucking
11 A Thief Detests The Criminal, Elements of...
12 Harvester
13 Matter No Medley
Erase Errata is currently out in advance support of the new record in what's known, in the parlance of our times, as the "already in progress" tour.
