Centro-Matic Tour Midwest, West Coast

Laundro-Matic saves enough quarters for new acetal copolymers

Denton, Texas rockers Centro-Matic released a gaggle of September and early October tour dates recently to coincide with the September 2nd release of their new album, Love You Just the Same, on Misra Records. Though often stuck with the Americana tag out of convenience, Centro-Matic take a more steadfastly "rock" approach to that sound, drawing on influences ranging from Guided by Voices to Archers of Loaf to The Shins.

Seattle indie rockers The Long Winters will play support for the West Coast leg of the tour before jumping ship to join fellow Barsuk Records artists Death Cab for Cutie on a trip cross-country. Glossary will support a lucky few early October dates of the Centro-Matic tour. Might wanna snatch these bands up now before your friends start beating you over the head with their records. Dates:
