90 Day Men Tour Cancelled

Gloomy, weaving, and ever-so-slightly-skewed, Chicago's resilient post-rock warriors 90 Day Men were set to head out on tour in support of a new single and in anticipation of a new full-length due in early 2004. However, Southern Records has announced that the dates, which were to have run through mid-October, have been cancelled following a band member's hospitalization last weekend. A planned November outing in Europe has apparently been scrapped as well. "The band anticipates being back in action by the turn of the year," the label reports on its main page.
