Are we talking wheelchair-racing special or Church Lady special here?

The Special Goodness, fronted by Weezer's Pat Wilson, have signed to Epitaph Records and are planning to re-release their most recent effort, Land Air Sea in late January 2004. Land Air Sea, which was originally released independently through the band's own N.O.S. Recordings last March, has been remixed-- but unfortunately (or fortunately depending on who you ask, and I choose to ask Rob Mitchum) will not feature any bonus tracks. It will, however, include video content not included on the original release. I don't know about you, but once I stuck a CD in my VCR, and not only did I not see any video footage, but let's just say I was making a trip to Radio Shack the next day.

The Special Goodness started as a solo project for Wilson in the downtime between Weezer's Pinkerton album and their 2001 self-titled Green Album. During the formative years, the band featured various members in the live setting, including former Weezer and current Kickovers bassist Mikey Welsh. In late 2001, Wilson enlisted the help of Rocket From The Crypt drummer Atom Willard to create the core duo that is The Special Goodness. The track listing for Land Air Sea:

Pardon Me
Life Goes By
Day in the Autumn
N.F.A.
Oops
Inside Your Heart
Pay No Mind
Whatever's Going On
In The Sun
Move It Along
The Big Idea
You Know I'd Like
