Secret Machines Announce East Coast Tour

OMG and the WTF's still shopping that demo

The Year 2002 brought us a lot of great things, but all I can remember is the heartbreak! Oh, and it was pretty solid in terms of music. Last year saw the release of the Secret Machines' first outing, September 000, a beautifully sparse and inventive pop EP. While marvelous, the EP showed above all "a promise of even better things to come," as my friend Joshua Sharp likes to say. As Sharp himself reported, the band has completed their debut full-length, set for a February release on Sire Records. While we wait, the group has planned a handful of live gigs. So check them out, asshole! God, and you owe me two months' rent. And that Yaz poster didn't pay for itself. Dates:

11-07 Hartford, CT - Webster Theatre
11-08 Albany, NY - Valentine's
11-19 Philadelphia, PA - North Star Bar
11-26 Brooklyn, NY - North Six
11-28 New York, NY - Sin-E
12-04 Philladelphia, PA - Khyber Pass
12-05 Harrisburg, PA - Gullifty's Underground
12-06 Pittsburgh, PA - Mr. Small's Fun House
