Pretty Girls Make Graves' Tour Van Found
Missing amps to comically appear in Justin Timberlake's living room on upcoming episode of "Punk'd"

From the stories-with-a-semi-happy-ending file: last month, Pitchfork reported that Pretty Girls Make Graves' tour van had been stolen, along with several vintage amps. We're happy (well, semi-happy, I guess) to report that the van made a re-appearance shortly after the Pitchfork story ran-- albeit sans the equipment. Dean Hudson at Sub Pop told us the suspected bandits "dropped off the van at a construction site and then took off in another 15 passenger van, according to a worker at the site." Which means that the bastards apparently took absolutely no notice of our story, which quoted the band's Derek Fudesco as requesting the exact opposite: KEEP the damn van, RETURN the equipment. Makes you think the criminal element doesn't even read the fuckin' site.

However, any news is good news, as Pretty Girls Make Graves note on their official website: "We got our van back yesterday-- it's pretty messed up and everything that was in it is gone, but at least we got it back." They've also set up a "Stolen Equipment Fund" in response to people who were asking to help defray the costs of the theft, which also included a trailer borrowed from a friend that needs to be replaced. Pretty Girls Make Graves are officially out on tour now, and tourmates Cobra High have been kind enough to lend their van for the duration.
