The Minus 5 are on their game and back with their second album this year, I Don't Know Who I Am (Let The War Against Music Begin, Vol. 2). The group, in orbit around principals Scott McCaughey and Peter Buck, continues in its tradition of featuring some of indie rock's best and brightest as supporting musicians. Past albums have been graced by the likes of Robert Pollard, Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, and, of course, Wilco, who played with the Minus 5 for the entirety of their previous outing, Down With Wilco. The new LP is again riddled with guest musicians, including Posies Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow and Wilco's own Jeff Tweedy. I Don't Know Who I Am is out this week on Return To Sender Records (though the date has been pushed back twice since mid-November; look in your grocer's freezer). Tracklist:
