Les Savy Fav, in their never-ending crusade to bring the most uniquely bizarre opening acts ever along with them on tour, have picked their latest tourmate from the cast of Saturday Night Live. Fred Armisen, known both for being unfunny as the senile rim-shot drummer in Chris Kattan's "Buddy Miles" routine and mildly annoying as Ferecito, the Venezuelan comic, will be supporting the best goddamn punk band in the world in a string of dates up and down the east coast later this month. Interestingly, Armisen also appeared in the Wilco documentary I Am Trying To Break Your Heart, in a handful of blink-and-you'll-miss-it scenes where he is attempting, unsuccessfully, to amuse Jeff Tweedy. ¡Ayyy, Dios mio!
