Here's hoping that thievery is a predominantly North American thing, as (p)art-punk sweethearts Pretty Girls Make Graves deign to throw rudder to the U.S. this February and participate in a slew of (with any luck) robbery-free European dates over the course of the month. The tour, coming on the unfortunate heels of the theft of the band's ride and equipment last November, is preceded by a handful of U.S. and Canadian shows in late January and early February, culminating in a sweaty post-punk bash with The Panthers and Prosaics at NY's Bowery Ballroom on February 7th.

Upon arriving in Europe on the 10th, the Seattle five-piece'll be transversing the land in their brand new robbery-proof tour tank, replete with laser turret and a bodyguard, who just so happens to be that behemoth of a Sloth look-alike from Sauron's army in Return of The King. Beating the war-path with The Graves will be an out-and-out rotary of rock and roll, including The Brody Dalley Band... errr, I mean, The Distillers, Peaches, Seachange, Read Yellow, and the saviors of formulaic, uninspired Australian rock themselves: The Vines. If only someone would swipe their boyish good looks, lightning bolt videos, and unjustified fame! But nevermind that, here're the dates:
