Beck To Give Away Lucky Rabbit's Foot To Contest Winner; Rest Of Rabbit Also Included
Prize guaranteed to be actual rabbit, not just passed-out Jessica Alba in Flaming Lips' sweatlogged bunny suit

Beck is giving away a bunny named Rocket to the lucky winner of an essay contest, according to his official website. Rocket, the featured rabbit in the video for "Lonesome Tears," has been "growing restless in the Hansen house and he's looking for a new owner," according to Beck.com. The entry form on Beck's site is accompanied by list of underlined threats demanding that all potential applicants first get their proverbial shit together. That's right, they're making a list. They want to speak to your vet and he better vouch for you or, whammo, no fucking bunny.

Ostensibly in celebration of the enhanced DVD-audio release of Sea Change, each of the top five entries will get an autographed copy of the release, and the top candidate will get Rocket. Well, my vet likes me and Pitchfork needs a mascot, so here goes:

Dear Beck,
I really liked it that time when you were like, "Make all the lesbians scream." Maybe you could do that again sometime. And when you took the Flaming Lips from relative obscurity and dropped them off with the hippies. That was weird. Can I have your rabbit now?
