The Zombies lived and died as a band during the Sixties, disbanding due to financial and artistic reasons. In 1967 the band recorded their final album, belatedly hailed as a masterpiece: Odessy and Oracle. The original band regrouped in 1997 for a two-song, one-off gig at the Jazz Club in London, following a full performance by Blunstone and his band. Following this appearance, Blunstone and Argent have toured together as The Zombies, playing tunes penned by the group and by the musicians on their own.
