Pretty Girls Make Graves Expand Spring Tour
Nothing to do after last "Sex and the City" airs

Dude, you know you like pretty girls. Unless you are a girl, pretty or otherwise, in which case you may or may not like pretty girls, depending on if you're a pretty girl who thinks of herself as being in solidarity with other pretty girls, or a pretty girl who feels threatened by other pretty girls, or if you're an ugly girl who likes pretty girls in that "coveting the other" sort of way or disdains them in that "vilifying the other" sort of way; or maybe you do like them because you might be a lesbian. What do I know?

Or if you're a gay man (not that there's anything wrong with that or to point fingers God knows in this day and age there should hardly be a distinction anymore, but I'm just saying), you don't "like" pretty girls but you probably like them as people, if the pretty girls in question are in fact likable people, or maybe even if they aren't, since you certainly might be the sort of person who likes unlikable people out of some great store of inner charity, or out of a desire to be liked yourself so overpowering that you like people who aren't even remotely likable in the hopes that they'll like you, despite their own apparent despicableness... who am I to say?

The point is that pretty girls and the infinitely unspooling ramifications of liking them are obviously too fraught with complexity and nuance to unpack in the space allotted for a news item. But supplied with the additional information that the pretty girls in question MAKE GRAVES, graves into which your pulped carcasses expire after PGMG drop the ponderous girth of their ornate rock ziggurats on you all Wicked Witch of the West style-- well, I'd venture to say that you're down with Pretty Girls and the Graves they Make, and will be more than a little tweaked to find out they've added additional dates to the tour schedule on which Pitchfork reported last month.

Since we're talking about pretty girls here, I'll leave you with an anecdote pulled from the pages of the always edifying and poignant Laugh Digest: Archie Andrews is walking down the block. He comes across a graffito on a fence that says "I like pretty grils." Archie, being a good citizen and an authority on pretty girls, corrects the inverted letters and goes whistling on his way. In the next panel, which one presumes to be the next day, Archie walks by the same fence to discover that another message has been scrawled beneath his amendment: "What's wrong with us grils?"
