Pinback Touring with Enon; New Album Details Still A Big Fuckin' Nuclear Secret

According to Touch and Go Records, "there isn't a lot of concrete info" on Pinback's upcoming long-player, which has been in the works for at least a couple of years, interrupted only by the blip of last year's Offcell EP and Pinback principal Rob Crow's seemingly endless parade of side projects. Pinback is, of course, the nifty little high pitched man-vocal, indie rock-meets-sampling team of songwriters Rob Crow and Armistead Burwell Smith IV (aka Zach), a project that developed alongside (eventually replacing) their different and previous endeavors under the moniker Three Mile Pilot.

Rob and Zach are said to be currently finishing up the recording/mixing process, readying the album for an August (!) release. As of now, there is no tracklist or tentative working title, but you can bet your aging shrew mothers we'll let you know these things as soon as we do. Touch and Go did give in and allow that new Pinback songs will be invading sets throughout the recently announced spring tour:
