Calla Tour to Support Re-Release of Debut

Arena Rock Recording Co. has reissued the self-titled debut from Calla, the New York-by-way-of-Texas three-piece responsible for last year's critically hailed Televise. The debut, which was originally released by Sub Rosa back in 1999, has been fleshed out with the addition of three previously unavailable live tracks. Although the record is not quite as accessible as its two follow-ups, many maintain that the fuzz-caked, far-out noise rock contained therein is some of the band's strongest work. Tracklist:

Lucky for you, the band will be hitting the road in support of the newly reissued disc. Supporting Calla will be Reading, England's Cooper Temple Clause, whose atypical mix of pop, rock, jazz, metal, and electronica has garnered them comparisons to everyone from Radiohead to Faith No More (!). Their most recent release, Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose, sees its U.S. release this week. Dates:
