Hold on to your marriage licenses: Starting April 16th, the first-ever Queercore Blitz tour will be grinding its way through Northeast U.S. Queercore, also known as Homocore, also known as the most emotionally secure punk subgenre ever, refers to the movement of gay and lesbian punk rock bands that have been fighting to end prejudice and promote awareness since the late 80s. YES! The Blitz is a grassroots tour encompassing a wide variety of musical styles; not just punk but pop, metal, and even classic rock as well.
