America's favorite (French Band), Air, are finally back in North America touring behing their latest Nigel Godrich-produced full-length, Talkie Walkie, released in January via Astralwerks. The band, fresh off the European tour they launched upon the album's release, have played three dates so far, making their first appearance on Friday at Austin, TX's Austin Music Hall. Tonight, they'll be playing Earthlink Live in Atlanta, and then it's onto the rest of the East Coast, into Canada, the Midwest, and pretty much every other city with a population. Additionally, the band is lined up for a May 2nd performance at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California. Dates:

Additionally, the duo are planning to follow-up Talkie Walkie's debut single, "Cherry Blossom Girl", with a four-track single for "Surfing on a Rocket". Set for release on April 12th, the disc will feature remixes by electronic artist Joakim, Zongamin, and the DFA's own The Juan MacLean. A music video is currently in post-production, and will be released to the media shortly. No word yet on whether it will be included in MPEG format on the single.
