Liars Announce 23-Date European Tour

Even though it came out several months ago, Liars' new record, They Were Wrong, So We Drowned, continues to spark debate among the "two cups of black coffee and wheat toast for dinner" set. Whether or not the album is musically challenging or just bassless wankery seems to me to be moot at this point. Obviously, the album should be judged on its musical content, and it's definitely agreeable that Drowned was a worthwhile project, if only for the heated discourse and disparity of reactions it produced. Either way, roughly half their fans should be coming out in droves for the group's newly announce Euro-trek, which, over the next month, will take them to such foody locales as Brussels, Dijon and Bologna.
