Dillinger Escape Plan Ready New Album
Live set to include timely covers of "Hey Ya", "Arthur's Theme (The Best That You Can Do)"

Dillinger Escape Plan, whose music induces all of the aural pleasure of jamming a power drill into your ear canal, but without all of the pain and hearing loss (most of the time), have announced Miss Machine as the title of their long awaited new album. Relapse Records will be releasing the LP, which the band recently began recording with producer Steve Evetts, who, in addition to playing bass on Vanilla, I mean V-Ice's Bi-Polar, has worked with a variety of acts such as The Cure, Earth Crisis, M.O.D., and Sick of It All.

Considering the album is still being recorded, an official tracklist hasn't surfaced just yet. Some of the songs that are slated to appear, however, are "Baby's First Coffin", "Apollo's Creed", "Universal Beauty", and "Panasonic Youth". According to guitarist Ben Weinman, the new album "encompasses everything that we are about, everything we have been through as a band and everything that is important to us." Miss Machine is currently slated for release on July 20th.
